Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Cyber & Privacy, the Assistant General Counsel will lead the Global Privacy Office, provide timely and practical advice on a range of privacy and data protection matters, effectively assess and communicate risk to the Company, and design and implement privacy-centric processes that address risk across the enterprise. The successful candidate will manage a team of privacy professionals and provide legal support to and collaborate with partners across Leidos' corporate functions and business sectors and will represent and advocate Leidos' approach to privacy in engagements with external partners.
Experience:
Minimum of 12+ years of experience advising on privacy/data protection compliance requirements.
Location/Relocation:
Reston, VA. This is a hybrid position with a minimum of three days of onsite work required (based on meetings, work schedules, etc.). Candidates must live within commuting distance to Reston, VA.
Compensation:
Competitive and commensurate with experience.
Bar:
Must be licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and willing and able to become licensed in Virginia within one year of joining Leidos.
