The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing the company's strategic growth and shareholder value within a diverse Fortune 500 environment.
This position requires a highly motivated individual with a strong business focus, excellent academic and law firm credentials, and a background in corporate and commercial transactional matters, particularly in M&A or investment work.
The role involves providing value-added legal services, leading corporate development transactional execution, and partnering with the Vice President of Growth Ventures to advise on the transactional aspects of investments.
The ideal candidate will have experience in strategic investments, including legal due diligence, negotiation of agreements, and management of legal risks.
Applicants for this role at the company should hold a JD degree from an accredited university, be admitted to the Bar in at least one state, and have 4-6 years of legal experience.
A background in venture capital transactions, and private equity funds, and experience with start-ups and early-stage growth companies is highly preferred.
The role is fast-paced and requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, international team.
Responsibilities include serving as a transaction advisor, interfacing with corporate development for investment approval, and providing legal support for all aspects of strategic investments.
The successful candidate will also be involved in directing outside legal counsel and should have a strong foundation in corporate governance, commercial transactions, and related matters.
