JOB SUMMARY:
Assist manager in the day-to-day operation of the Central Cashier Facility. Oversee the collection, processing, and reconciliation of cash, which is a 365-day, two shifts per day operation. Monitor and enforce internal controls and maximize labor hours within the budget constraints of the work unit.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises, coaches and directs responsibilities of team including interviewing and time/attendance management.
Cross-trains employees to provide sufficient coverage.
Prepares and presents performance reviews and employee recognition and counseling, when appropriate.
Interacts with and prepares written correspondence with management in multiple divisions including IT, A/R, A/P, Rev. Acctg., Fin.
Reporting, LP and all revenue generating divisions to resolve issues.
Maximizes budgeted labors hours according to park hours and attendance levels.
Ensures that internal controls and policies and procedures are updated as necessary and in compliance.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
High school degree or GED is required.
Associate's degree (AA) is preferred.
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years Supervisory experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Vault, Banking Operations, and Solution Development experience preferred.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Infrequent local travel. Long distance travel not required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
Communication, Organization, Decision Making, and Budgeting skills required.
Planning, Scheduling, Forecasting, and Analytical Thinking skills preferred.
Knowledge of Accounting Principles and Accounting Research preferred.
