JOB SUMMARY:
Provides timely and credible leadership to the team responsible for the daily operation of one or more Guest Arrivals – North Campus operating venues. Provides direction and development to Supervisor-level Team Members. Indirectly supervises attendant and Team Captain-level Team Members. Ensures assigned venue(s) are meeting departmental standards and goals. Works closely with the Senior Manager to establish Safety, Financial, Team Member satisfaction and Guest Satisfaction goals. Must be an effective communicator with ability to relay information in a concise and timely manner. Must work multiple shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Performs department MOD role and other duties as assigned.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the development of supervisor team, including training, coaching and mentoring. Ensures supervisors are driving GSAT, TSAT, Financial and Safety initiatives as well meeting established deadlines.
Oversees the daily operation of assigned Guest Arrivals venue. Responsible for ensuring labor goals, efficiency, safety, and quality standards are being met (ideally exceeded). Effectively handles and properly reports any incidents, Team Member/Guest issues, and/or operational deficiencies.
Works with Senior Manager on ensuring strict adherence to budgetary goals. Responsible for assisting with other aspects of fiscal planning as assigned.
Enforces department policies and procedures, inclusive of training and safety, while working with the Senior Manager to identify and develop new departmental policies and procedures. Ensures proper hiring and training programs are developed, implemented, and maintained.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
SCOPE:
This individual will be responsible for an assigned venue within the Guest Arrivals department. Individual will be scheduled opening and closing shifts within a 24 hour operation which covers venues outside of those specifically assigned. Individual will be expected to perform the department MOD role.
EDUCATION:
High school degree or GED required.
Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or higher preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
3-5 Years of supervisory or management experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Florida Driver's License is required.
