JOB SUMMARY:
Manages the efficient operation, up-selling and profit/loss of assigned store locations and team members; insures meeting and exceeding guest service standards and maintains location theming and presentation.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for managing all areas pertaining to guest service. Through training, coaching, and sales floor presence ensures the expected level of guest service is provided. Develops interdepartmental partnership to ensure appropriate and consistent execution and delivery of guest service across divisions.
Responsible for leading a team of Merchandise Associates and Merchandise Stockers. Providing team members with developmental tools, feedback, and support in their assigned areas of responsibility. Accountable for the development, coaching, performance appraisal process, and mentoring of all direct reports. Partnering with HR to resolve Team Member issues. Monitors Team Member satisfaction levels through TSAT Action planning and initiatives.
Ensures the adherence to all applicable cash handling policies on a daily basis. Responsible for managing to the budget and oversight of all P & L categories. Responsible for achieving financial objectives through effective revenue management and inventory management. Responsible for labor control and maintaining appropriate staffing levels based on budget and/or as business needs dictate.
Actively demonstrates product and utilizes suggestive selling techniques to encourage offerings to each guest.
Manages merchandise presentation and monitoring of inventory levels. Manages the receiving of merchandise deliveries, stockroom maintenance, and stocking of the sales floor. Implements inventory controls to manage retail shrinkage. Ensures the accurate completion of the inventory process. Partners with the support team to drive business and execute divisional initiatives.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

EDUCATION:
High school degree or GED is required.
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Must have 2+ years of retail management experience
; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
