JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for identifying and analyzing trends within Park & Resort Operations by overseeing various business systems and providing performance and metrics reporting to Senior Leaders. Creates, maintains and streamlines internal Databases for all of Operations / Tech Base. Also responsible for maintaining radio inventory for all Park & Resort Operations and providing work direction to direct reports.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for analyzing department statistics such as Attraction Figures, Park Attendance, Quality Reporting and key performance indicators for Park & Resort Operations. Prepares and ensures the consistent and accurate delivery of daily, weekly and monthly reports based on Leadership needs while maintaining confidentiality of UO operating information. Creates ad-hoc reports based on requests from Senior Leadership and/or trends identified.
Provides direction and leadership to direct report. Develops, trains and coaches Analyst to ensure weekly and ad hoc reports are produced consistently and correctly. Act as on Duty Management for Ops/Tech Base as needed.
Oversees the departments role in Finance and Attendance reports (FLASH) approvals to ensure information is accurate and entered in a timely manner for daily approvals
Responsible for maintaining the Park & Resort Operations radio inventory. Additionally, responsible for ensuring technology systems are up to date within Ops/Tech Base computer systems.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree is required.
EXPERIENCE:
2+ years of hospitality leadership experience required.
3+ years of data entry, analysis, trending and reporting.
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Intermediate to advanced experience with the Tableau reporting platform.
Solid understanding and experience creating database-driven report templates and dashboards, as well as modifying existing report templates and dashboards.
Willingness to produce reports on a regular weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis containing primary research, ultimately utilized by leaders at all levels within Universal Parks and Resorts.
Desire to take proactive ownership of the accuracy and timeliness of reported data.
Desire to work with colleagues to design the most effective data visualizations in reports and dashboards that identify trends and unlock key insights.
Highly collaborative team player who is focused, self-motivated, detail oriented, accurate, and flexible – able to quickly adapt to changing priorities and tight timelines.
Strong presentation skills are a must.
