The Assistant Nurse Manager, Med Surg Tele, will report directly to the Nurse Manager of the Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit. This role involves collaboration with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care and unit efficiency. The Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit is a fast-paced, 24-bed unit specializing in the care of patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. Our team of skilled nurses provides continuous cardiac monitoring and advanced medical-surgical care, ensuring comprehensive treatment and recovery for our patients. Job Responsibilities: Assist the Nurse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Med Surg Tele Unit. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff, ensuring compliance with best practices and hospital policies. Coordinate patient care activities and ensure efficient workflow within the unit. Monitor and evaluate patient care to maintain high standards of quality and safety. Participate in staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and unit activities. Assist in managing the unit's budget and resource allocation. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Requirements: RN Degree. RN License. Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in medical-surgical or telemetry settings will earn a quick interview. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
