Position Summary The Department of Psychology at the University of Georgia invites applications for an Assistant Professor position in the area of Health Disparities to begin Fall 2025. Candidates will be expected to contribute to the teaching needs of the Psychology Department at the graduate and undergraduate level. Successful applicants will join a nationally prominent and productive research faculty and department that is dedicated to supporting faculty research. Collaboration within the department and across the University is encouraged.
Additional Requirements The successful candidate will have a research program in the area of Health Disparities that examines topics such as the impact of psychosocial context, trauma, chronic stress, preventive intervention, intergenerational effects, life course effects, and protective processes on health-related disparities in marginalized communities.
