Contract Type: Academic (9 mo.)

Tenure Status: Tenure Track

Minimum Qualifications An earned doctoral degree (upon appointment) in nutrition or a related scientific field.

Position Summary POSITION: Assistant Professor of Nutritional Neuroscience (45% Research, 50% Teaching, 5% Service), 9-month academic year tenure-track appointment.

Responsibilities Include: Develop a nationally recognized and externally-funded program in the area of nutritional neuroscience. Direct and support research programs of PhD and MS-level students. Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in nutrition. Engage in collaborative and interdisciplinary research with faculty. Contribute to activities that serve the department, college, university, the public, and the profession. Additional Requirements To be considered for the position of Assistant Professor, the applicant must hold an earned doctoral degree in nutrition or a related scientific field and have demonstrated research productivity in nutritional neuroscience.

Preferred Qualifications Candidates with at least two years of post-doctoral research experience and evidence of preparation and submission of external research grants are preferred.
