Job DescriptionThe Department of Psychology at Virginia Tech seeks outstanding scholars for tenure-track faculty positions in Cognitive Neuroscience or Computational Neuroscience, broadly defined, to begin Fall 2024.The successful candidates will join a dynamic and growing community of scholars focused on research questions at the intersection of psychology and neuroscience at Virginia Tech. This reflects a major investment in recent faculty hires and research infrastructure across the Department of Psychology, Department of Human Development and Family Sciences, Department of Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise, School of Biomedical Engineering, School of Neuroscience, and Center for Human Neuroscience at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at Virginia Tech Carilion.The candidates will be expected to establish an externally funded research program, mentor graduate trainees, teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and participate in departmental service.Virginia Tech recognizes the critical importance of diverse teams of scholars.
