We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support our Project Manager and Site Superintendent in a range of Custom home project- related tasks. From strategic planning to hands-on implementation, this role is crucial to the success of our projects, which can vary in duration from a few weeks to several years. If you have excellent interpersonal skills, a forward-thinking mindset, and a passion for contributing to project success, we want to hear from you.
Basic Requirements:
* Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to work in a team, exceptional communication skills, and a solution-oriented approach are a must.
* Self-Starter: We need motivated individuals committed to personal, company, and project success.
* Project-Based Role: This full-time position is based in our office but may require project-related travel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Coordination: Collaborate with Project Manager and senior management to understand project scope, objectives, and progress reporting.
* Planning: Define project sequences, required resources, materials, and subcontractors necessary for successful project completion.
* Scheduling: Assist in creating and revising project schedules, ensuring alignment with project activities.
* Client Liaison: Maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders, facilitating project activities.
* Administrative Support: Prepare project-related documents, maintain records, and assist in data collection and analysis.
* Communication: Liaise between company departments, handle information requests, and assist in meeting preparations and documentation.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Communication and Leadership: Proficiency in communication, leadership, and teamwork orientation.
* Organization: High level of organization, attention to detail, and adaptability.
* Technical Proficiency: Computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, email, and internet navigation are essential.
Desired Qualifications:
* Education: College Degree or equivalent, trade school training, or 3+ years of project management experience in the Residential construction industry.
