Assistant Superintendent

The primary function of the Assistant Superintendent is to assist with scheduling, coordination, and
supervision of craft employees and subcontractors on a project site. The Assistant Superintendent will
work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesReview project documents including plans and specificationsReview all subcontracts and purchase ordersUnderstand the items of workBecome familiar with the scheduling requirementsAssist with managing and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers on the projectHandle daily project problems with assistance from Superintendent as requiredVerify field dimensions when necessaryReview all submittals and keep them filed in an orderly fashionKeep job site safe and cleanKeep office trailer and tool room/truck clean and orderlyMaintain equipmentEnsure that required equipment is on the project when neededAssist in keeping track of change order work and extra workMonitor and ensure that punch list items are completed in a timely mannerAssist with and attend weekly subcontractor meetingsQualifications2-5 years carpentry experiencePast leadership experience is preferred.Computer skills are requiredGood communication and interpersonal skillsWell-developed office management and organizational skillsAdditional InformationHome office is located in Casper, WY but travel will be requiredWork environment is a combination of outdoors and indoorsEOE
