A Boutique Business Litigation and Transaction Firm is seeking a 5-to-7 year Attorney to become a part of their team! As the Associate Attorney, you will represent clients and advise clients on commercial, business, and personal litigation matters and transactions. The Firm's client mix is diverse but with an emphasis on privately held companies, partnerships, trusts, and high-wealth individuals. \n What You'll DoRepresent clients in court or before government agencies. Take and defend expert and percipient depositions in connection with litigation matters. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents on behalf of clients. Lead or participate in trials, arbitrations, hearings, and mediations. Advise clients on business and legal transactions with an emphasis on real estate and privately held corporate transactions. Negotiate and document transactions for business and real estate deals, as well as settlements of legal disputes. Practice corporate work, including the formation of business entities and the creation of investment structures and preparation of operating agreements, subscription agreements, by-laws, and other company, partnership, or corporate documents and agreements. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law. What You Need5 to 7 years minimum previous experience in litigation and/or real estate transactional work preferred. California State Bar admitted. Familiarity with California Codes and Federal Codes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to build rapport and work with clients. Work efficiently in a team or individual environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Top 75 Law Schools Preferred. Salary & BenefitsLocation: Calabasas, CA. $130,000 - $175,000 per year. Hybrid Work, 1-2 days remote per week. Hours: M-F / 30-40hrs per week, 1,800 hours per year.
