Associate Attorney

The Appellate section of Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons, LLP is seeking an attorney with 2-5 years' litigation and/or appellate experience to join the Houston office.
Candidates should have a working knowledge of state and federal civil and appellate procedure, and excellent advocacy and writing skills.
Litigation experience, including motion and trial practice is preferred, and previous appellate experience and/or judicial clerkship experience is strongly preferred.
Valid Texas BAR license required.
The associate in this position will assist in handling the firm's appellate work, including brief drafting and oral arguments; assist other sections of the firm with motion practice, trial preparation and support; and attend firm trials as appellate counsel.
