Talkov Law is looking for a California attorney (0-4 years of experience) to join our growing team of real estate litigators. This position is permanently remote. The ideal candidate will excel in critical thinking, problem solving, developing strategy, and client relations so that they can independently litigate real estate issues throughout the state while being mentored by Californias #1 team of partition attorneys who work to end co-ownership disputes.
** Drafting motions, complaints, discovery, briefs, and lettersNegotiation of settlements with opposing attorneysLegal research and writingDeveloping legal strategiesWorking directly with clientsLearning the practice and business of lawWorking on a team of 9 real estate attorneys in CaliforniaReporting directly to the Managing Partner Experience or strong interest in litigation or real estateDesire to work at a technology-focused law firmStrong computer and Internet skillsProficient with Google Workspaces (Gmail and Google Sheets) and Microsoft WordExcellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skillsHigh degree of autonomy, self-motivation, and creativityMembership in the State Bar of California or awaiting bar number after exam resultsHumorous outlook on life.
