Associate Coding Quality Auditor - 100% RemoteRevenue Cycle is the name adopted to reflect the Providence employees who work throughout Providence Health & Services (PH&S) in revenue cycle systems and structures in support of our ministries and operations in all regions from Alaska to California.ORC's objective is to ensure our core strategy, One Ministry Committed to Excellence, is delivered along with the enhanced overall patient care experience (know me, care for me, ease my way) by providing a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized revenue cycle expertise.

Responsibilities
• Ensure the delivery of the core strategy, One Ministry Committed to Excellence, by providing robust services, operational and technical support, and specialized revenue cycle expertise• Conduct coding quality audits in acute care coding areas• Meet national certification requirements• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations• Collaborate with revenue cycle teams to improve overall patient care experience• Participate in comprehensive training programs
Requirements
• Associate's Degree or equivalent educ/experience• National certifications from American Academy of Professional Coders or American Health Information Management Association• 4 years of recent acute care coding experience in hospital inpatient, day surgery, or emergency department• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent educ/experience (preferred)
