Associate - Corporate/Transactional Practice

Boutique startup law firm based in Morristown, NJ is looking to hire an Associate to join their growing team within their Corporate/Transactional/M&A practice. The role will be a match for someone with an entrepreneurial and growth mindset who doesn't see their future in a more traditional big law firm. Their clients cover a broad range of industries including finance, technology, entertainment, healthcare and manufacturing and you would work with their clients while also having the opportunity to grow your own book of business. Acting as both an advising attorney and business advisor, the role includes: Representing buyers and sellers in business sales and acquisitions Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various business agreements Advising clients on risks associated with business decisions They are looking for someone with: 3-5 years of corporate/transactional experience Must be admitted to the bar in NJ, and ideally also NY You will be someone who is very team oriented, and love to constantly learn. You will value the opportunity to help shape a successful and growing business in its formative years, and be always looking for ways to add value. You will be compensated with a base salary, quarterly bonus and there will be additional compensation for any new clients you bring in. They also offer competitive benefits. In office 2 days a week.
