\n ResponsibilitiesWork directly with senior personnel at Portage Point and our clients to develop comprehensive solutions to complex operational and financial challenges across the business lifecycle including formulating and implementing value creation, business transformation and performance improvement plans, contingency planning and bankruptcy preparation / executionAnalyze detailed financial statement information including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and key operational dataDevelop liquidity forecasting, DIP sizing, first day motions, petition exhibits, vendor analysis, SOALs / SOFAs / MORs, 13-week cash flow projections, key performance indicator (KPI) tracking, KEIP & KERP development, liquidation analysis and three statement modelsIdentify areas for operational improvements and cost reduction and participate in operational, financial and management meetings to share findings Prepare executive reporting packages including KPIs, financial performance and budgetDevelop critical presentations (value creation plans, operational and strategic roadmaps, Board of Director updates, creditor updates, general performance update materials, confidential information memoranda, etc.) for key stakeholders (management, Board of Directors, investors, creditors, etc.) Implement cash conservation protocols and communication processes with key stakeholdersPrepare ad hoc financial and operational analysis, often on a real-time basisAssist in due diligence for potential new investments, including market research and analysis of industry trends, financial modeling and valuationDevelop operational forecasts and budgets for active and potential investmentsShare and manage best practices as well as lead internal trainings where requiredSupport business development, talent acquisition and firm development efforts Contribute to creating a high-performing and inclusive culture QualificationsBachelor's degree from a top undergraduate program Located or willing to relocate to Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York or Philadelphia Invested in a team-based culture that involves in office four days per week and willing to work at client sites as needed Two plus years of investment banking, consulting, private equity or other formal financial modeling training at a top-tier firm Financial acumen to prepare three statement models, 13-week cash flows, dynamic KPI packages and complex ad hoc analysis or the aptitude to become proficientAbility to successfully work in a small, collaborative team environmentHigh degree of maturity with a proven ability to interact with senior executives, private equity firms, lenders, lawyers, middle managers and line workers Effectively communicates analysis through Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint including high-quality messaging, structure and formatting Eagerness to be responsive at all timesProven track-record of success in high pressure, time-constrained environmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skills including strong e-mail etiquetteTop-tier organizational skills and attention to detailSelf-starter and entrepreneurial spirit

The City of New York and the State of California require Portage Point to provide compensation information for this role. This range represents the anticipated minimum and maximum base + bonus for this position based upon a good faith and reasonable estimate. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the applicant's qualifications (education, training and/or experience related to this role), and therefore, may fall outside the range shown, depending on the circumstances.
