Wage Range: $21.00 - $24.00 Job Summary Responsible for consolidating, transforming, and modeling of data into charts, graphs, tables and reports to be used to improve the quality and accuracy of program data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Analyze program datato find gaps or errors Provide technical assistance to contractors and sub awardees to resolve errors Assist the Data Analyst Assistant Manager with the following activities: Gather, analyze, correlate, or evaluate information from a variety of resources Condense large, often complex data into clear, concise, easy-to-understand observations Analyze large volumes of data to look at performance, quality and trending Prepare comprehensive written reports, presentations, maps, or charts based on research, collection, and analysis of data Develop reports, test and debug errors, and validate results Collaborate with decision makers by collecting, analyzing data and reporting results Consult with staff to effectively produce requested reports, analyze requirements, and convert specifications into computer code Represent SEMCA at internal and external meetings Assist in developing departmental policies to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations Other duties as assigned Qualifications All SEMCA team members are expected to be technically competent and committed to continuous development of their skills.
The following skills, knowledge and education or certifications are specifically required for this position: Associate degree in computer science or equivalent experience Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite Proficient with Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP function, pivot tables and formulas Ability to apply analytical techniques to a wide variety of data Strong analytical, quantitative skills and problem solving skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines and responsibilities Flexible and adaptable to fast paced, changing environments; detail oriented and driven Proficient at translating Contractor's data requests into reports Proficient with SQL Good communication skills Physical Demands Duties require sufficient mobility to work in a normal office setting and use standard office equipment including a computer, vision to read printed materials on an LCD screen and smartphone, hearing and speech sufficient to communicate in person and over the telephone.
