Job Description The Position As part of the Commercial Analytics & Insights group within the Business Intelligence organization, the Associate Director will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making to optimize sales, marketing, and commercial operations strategies for the US market. This role will have broad analytical responsibilities and collaborate closely with key business stakeholders to provide strategic recommendations, ensuring the optimal level and mix of investments across channels, brands, and customer segments. Primary activities and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities Leverage market segmentation and targeting strategies for both launch and inline brands in collaboration with business units.Design sales force sizing, re-sizing, and deployment strategies using analytical models, promotional responsiveness, workload buildup, ROI, business trends, and competitive pressure.Perform in-depth analysis of customer-level engagement data (personal and non-personal) from multiple sources to identify opportunities and inform brand team decisions.Optimize customer engagement strategies and segments based on insights and help design customer engagement journeys.Recommend best practices for customer engagement across personal and non-personal channels to improve content, channel, timing relevancy, and overall customer experience.Analyze competitive market strategies by evaluating relevant pharmaceutical markets, products, and market shares.Generate standard or custom reports and presentations summarizing business and financial data for executives, managers, and other stakeholders.Identify target markets for launch products or improve sales of existing products by analyzing industry and technology trends.Research and apply emerging analytical methods and tools such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Advanced Statistical methods, Cloud Computing (AWS), Python, R, etc., to measure promotional impacts and optimize budget allocations.Required Education, Experience and Skills Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required. An advanced degree in Statistics, Decision Science, Operation Research, Data Science, Computer Science or closely related field is preferred.Minimum of seven years of relevant work experience in commercial analytics within the pharmaceutical industry.Proven experience in developing and applying analytics solutions to solve business challenges related to Marketing and/or Sales within the pharmaceutical industry.Superior communication and leadership skills to convey technical concepts to business stakeholders and senior executives through concise, decision-driven presentations.Strong project and client management experience, with the ability to manage multiple analytical projects simultaneously and foster collaboration across teams.Experience managing cross-functional teams and/or external service providers to deliver complex analyses with multiple contributors.Proficiency in R or Python is required. Experience with SQL, cloud computing (AWS), and various analytical/data mining tools such as Dataiku is preferred.Strong understanding of the Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industry and experience with 3rd party data sources such as Symphony Health and Longitudinal Patient Level Data.The selected candidate must be local to Plymouth Meeting as they'll be required to come into the office once a week or as needed.

Final salary determinations take a number of factors into account including, but not limited to, primary work location, relevant skills, education level, and/or prior work experience. The applicable salary range for this position in the U.S. is stated below. Benefits offered in the U.S. include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation and holiday time, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Annualized Salary Range (US) $124,000.00 - $210,700.00
