Full job description Description A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Associate Director of Process Excellence to join our Customer Excellence team within the conference division. This role is pivotal in defining, managing, and optimizing our processes to ensure seamless operations and exceptional attendee experiences. The Associate Director will oversee the strategy and process optimization related to proper client validation of essential entitlement data that contributes to the seamless execution of our on-site conference experience. These intricate processes ensure precise entitlements and streamlined access, resulting in an optimal attendee journey.
What you'll do: Design and implement comprehensive strategies to optimize operations within the conference team, ensuring alignment with overall Gartner objectives and Customer Excellence standards
Lead the rollout of key processes including data tagging, auditing, and system code rollouts to enhance efficiency and accuracy, ensuring attendees are properly entitled before getting on-site
Act as a primary liaison between the Sales and Services team, fostering strong collaboration to streamline processes and improve service delivery
Oversee a team dedicated to process excellence, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and improvement
Utilize data-driven insights to identify opportunities for process improvements and drive decision-making. Ensure accurate and timely reporting on key metrics and KPIs
Develop and implement quality assurance frameworks to ensure processes meet the highest standard of accuracy and compliance
Lead change management initiatives related to process improvements, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions to operations
Keep informed with industry trends and best practices, integrating innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
Ability to quickly adapt to evolving business updates and processes is essential for success in this role
What you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
5-10+ years of relative experience working with process optimization, preferably within the conference or event management industry
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of driving high-performance teams
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail
Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks
Comfortable influencing and building trust-based, value-added relationships with senior executives
Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and the creative development of solutions and strategies to solve client problems
An unwavering commitment to the success of your team, and willingness to provide constructive/ corrective action when needed
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
Quickly adapt to evolving business updates and processes is essential for success in this role

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 91,440 USD - 142,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
