Full job description About Casa Esperanza Casa Esperanza, Inc. is a bilingual/bicultural behavioral health treatment provider serving Boston and the Merrimack Valley. About the role The role of the HIV Services Project Manager is to oversee Casa Esperanza's HIV/AIDS services for Latinos with substance use and cooccurring, describe the specific responsibilities and job functions of the role mental disorders who are at risk for or living with HIV and other infections (including VH),, including SAMHSA prevention and Ryan White Part A services. The Project Manager will provide both direct service and administrative duties, S/he will provide supervision and oversight to the HIV Support Services team, ensuring service utilization benchmarks and reporting requirements are met in a timely manner. S/he will also coordinate outreach activities, including participation in prevention and education community events; conduct stakeholder
and focus group interviews as part of the Community PROMISE community
identification process intervention; facilitate access to recovery-oriented
substance-use-disorder (SUD) treatment, resources, and recovery groups; provide
referrals for HIV/STI/Hep A, B, C individual and group prevention sessions,
including counseling and testing; and provide other psychosocial support and
mentoring for clients living with HIV/AIDS and those at high risk. S/he will play a
lead role in ensuring care coordination and management of HIV support services
for clients across the continuum of care. The Project Manager will oversee and
develop the implementation of the new CasaCHESS project. The Project Manager
will ensure that benchmarks, timelines, goals and objectives are being met and
reported as required.
What you'll do Responsibilities: Outreach and Service Delivery
? Work with Recovery Support Services Director to develop and implement
outreach strategy for reaching Latinos with behavioral health disorders
living with HIV/AIDS/VH or at high risk
? Coordinate and conduct regular outreach to spaces frequented by
individuals at high risk of HIV/VH (including PWID, women, MSM, YMSM, and
transgender individuals)
? Organize and lead monthly in-reach meetings at Casa Men's Program and
Latinas y Niños to provide HIV Education and information about services
available for PLWHA at FUOP.
? Provide information regarding PrEP, nPEP, and Twinrix; distribute safety
supplies; and provide referral to recovery support and treatment services
? Connect population to treatment, recovery support services, and HIV
services at Casa Esperanza and at other agencies across Greater Boston.

Administrative: ? Ensure program is meeting state and federal standards of care and
reporting requirements
? Complete periodic review of client records to ensure all client encounters
and other data are documented as required and maintain up-to-date client
records
? Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all relevant regulations, accreditation
standards, contract and grant requirements, Casa Esperanza, Inc. policies
and procedures, programmatic goals, and required staff credentialing and
competencies.
? Maintain up-to-date contacts for key resources and ensure the team is
trained to leverage these organizational linkages to support client access to
care
? Ensure data collection requirements are completed within specified time
frames
? Write and submit all reporting as required by Program funding sources in a
timely manner
? Maintain efficient work flow to ensure client utilization meet program goals
and objectives
? Work closely with multidisciplinary team to ensure that client's treatment
and service plans are implemented and client needs are being met
? Attend bi-weekly supervision
? Other duties as required
Qualifications ? Bilingual Spanish/English required.
? Demonstrated supervisory and project management ability
? Knowledge of HIV, recovery process and resources; outreach strategies, and
group facilitation skills.
? Familiar with social, health and cultural issues specific to the Latino
population
? Experience with homelessness, domestic violence, and incarceration
? Ability to work as a team member & independently
? Understanding of harm reduction techniques
? Strong organizational skills
? Strong verbal and written communication skills
? Strong interpersonal skills and crisis management skills
? Computer skills, minimum Microsoft Word
? Valid Massachusetts Driver's License

Education/Training Required: ? Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or other Human
Services related field preferred (or comparable experience)
? Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor/Certified Alcohol Counselor required
or willing to obtain within one year of hire
? CPR certified

Schedule Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm Availability (40 hours)
