Associate Director Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have: Bachelor's Degree in Human Services and 2 years supervisory experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities or Associate's Degree in Human Services with 4 years experience in field of Developmental Disabilities. Demonstrates leadership and management skills.

General Responsibilities:

Responsible for overseeing a group of supervisors and their respective residential homes.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the training and work performance of Supervisors and Program Specialists. Assign and oversee program mentors.

Monitor budgets to ensure all programs operate within assigned limits. Ensure regular review and accountability of consumer finances.

Ensure overall quality of programs and implement changes as necessary.

Meet regularly with Supervisors: provide direction and guidance, promote relationships, and counsel whenever necessary. Complete and present yearly performance evaluations.

Visit residential houses regularly when consumers are in the home to observe interactions, etc. Promote and participate in community involvement activities.

Conduct monthly on-call meetings with on-call groups.

Attend county and state meetings, trainings, and events. Attend additional meetings as needed in the absence of the Director. Attend consumer related meetings and review ISPs quarterly.

Respond to consumer and family concerns and assist in their resolution.

Interview and hire supervisors. Participate in residential disciplines and terminations.

Input building maintenance concerns on the maintenance database and follow up to ensure that the program environments are safe and in good repair.

Maintain good working relationships with families/guardians, supports coordinators, day programs, schools, advocates, monitoring personnel, other agency personnel, and regulatory personnel.

Ensure adherence to applicable federal, state and county laws, regulations, and policies.

Review incident reports, investigate incidents, and take action according to policies and procedures. Become a certified investigator.

Attend and participate in licensing surveys and enact changes as indicated.

Track Supervisors PTO and complete payroll responsibilities.

Act as liaison between nurses and supervisors to ensure optimum medical care for consumers.

Assume responsibilities of supervisors and their residential homes when needed. Work shifts in programs as needed.

Oversee inventory and maintenance of program equipment such as cell phones, vehicles, etc.

Promote and participate in community involvement activities.

Full Time employees eligible the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment. LOW ANNUAL DEDUCTIBLE.

Paid time off (PTO):

Up to 13 days accrued in first year of employment.

Tuition Reimbursement:

Up to $1200 after 1 year of service; Up to $2000 after 2 years of service.

Holiday Pay:

7 PAID Holidays!

401K Retirement Plan:

LifePath will provide an employer contribution of 40% of the employee's contribution, provided the employee contributes between 2.5% and 5% of his/her base salary.

Employer PAID Short Term Disability:

Provides a paid benefit of 13 weeks at 66 2/3% of salary with an initial 7 day waiting period.

Employer PAID Life Insurance:

Amount equal to twice your annual salary.

Voluntary Life Insurance & Long Term Disability also available.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP):

Provides 3 FREE counseling sessions per concern.

Service Recognition Benefit:

After completion of selected service years, employees receive a pay increase and/or pre-tax bonus.
