We're on the lookout for an accomplished stock plan administration expert to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you'll serve as the custodian of this vital function, reporting directly to the General Counsel. Collaborating seamlessly across HR, finance, payroll, and legal departments, you'll spearhead the day-to-day administration of our stock programs. From data analysis and reporting to ensuring compliance and internal controls, you'll be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our equity processes.
Responsibilities:
Manage full equity administration via E*TRADE, including award issuance, data management, and interaction with brokers.
Prepare comprehensive quarterly reports for executive and board presentations.
Ensure accurate processing and tracking of all equity transactions, from grants to cancellations.
Facilitate timely filing of required reports and disclosures related to equity compensation.
Deliver clear and informative communications to participants regarding equity awards and tax implications.
Monitor data transfer between systems to ensure accurate payments and tax recording.
Conduct regular audits to uphold data accuracy and integrity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine equity compensation policies and procedures.
Assist in financial forecasting and budgeting related to equity compensation expenses.
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements pertaining to equity compensation.
Oversee insider reporting and review filings for accuracy.
Support internal reporting processes by providing necessary data to HR, finance, payroll, and legal teams.
Contribute to the development of employee communication and training materials.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to propose innovative equity compensation programs.
Conduct special analyses and undertake other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, human resources, business, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in stock plan administration.
Certified Equity Professional Level III certification or equivalent.
Thorough understanding of equity compensation regulations, accounting principles, and tax implications.
Experience in a public company environment handling equity taxation, reporting, and compliance.
Proficiency with stock plan administration systems such as E*TRADE's Equity Edge Online.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
Discretion, integrity, and sound judgment in decision-making.
Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines while enhancing processes.

This position is based in South San Francisco, CA. Currently, we are unable to consider fully remote applicants.
The salary range for this position is $205,000 - $220,000 USD annually. Please note that this range is an estimate and may vary based on the Company's compensation practices.
