Kennedy Jenks is growing and hiring for several roles within our Facilities Engineering team. KJ is seeking Civil, Environmental, Mechanical or Chemical Engineers to support our growing team with various levels of experience. These roles can be located in Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, and California.
Key Responsibilities: Work on challenging projects in the mining and metals, aerospace, pulp and paper mill, food and beverage, and manufacturing industries.Work in a collegial and supportive multi-disciplined team-based environment on projects from initial planning stages through design, construction, and startup operations.Responsible for the delivery of industrial engineering design and construction in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and California.Industrial engineering design, chemical and process calculations, bench and pilot testing, and providing engineering services during construction of projects.Requirements: BS or MS in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical or other related field.5+ years of engineering experience in planning, engineering, design, construction and commissioning (multiple opportunities at various levels of experience).Prior engineering experience with industrial water, industrial wastewater, mechanical infrastructure, system controls, process automation, water/mass balances, or process design is preferred.Project development oversight and project management, including scope, schedule, fee preparation, negotiation, project staffing, and coordination of activities related to planning, design, and construction.Travel to client and project sites for client visits/meetings and other travel to other Kennedy Jenks offices will be necessary.Leverage existing client relationships to expand services.Depending on years of experience, Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification (or must have the ability to obtain your EIT within one-year of employment), or Professional Engineer license is preferred.Experience with computer-aided drafting (CAD) and design in similar applications (BlueBeam) is preferred.Kennedy Jenks supports a healthy work-life balance and utilizes a hybrid model of home and office work to empower our people to thrive and achieve their full potential.
The salary range for this position is anticipated to be $95,000 to $120,000, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications and geographic location.
