Job Description
Position will work closely with Design Engineers to develop tooling and engineered systems that facilitate ICG operations in providing services to the corporate customer base.
Position will work closely with engineering, inventory, fabrication, and paint and body departments to optimize quality, efficiency, and cost throughout the manufacturing and construction process.
Position is responsible for project coordination duties including but not limited to B.O.M.
development, make/buy decisions, quantity/quality standards, testing, fabrication, personnel coordination, capital budgeting, labor tracking, and installation/commissioning planning.
Position will be expected to make significant input to design elements of tooling and systems required to manufacture functional equipment used by the industrial cleaning operations group.
Specific focus is required to recommend design details that incorporate productivity, practicality, job site supply, safety & working conditions, operational ergonomics, and least-cost concepts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.
Position is will be expected to communicate key production issues through engineering-including problems and proposed solutions.
2.
Position would remain actively involved in the design process and is expected to communicate technical ideas and proposed changes through proper channels.
3.
Position must assist with material procurement relative to purchase specifications, quality, delivery, warranty/ field service, and plant service support.
Expected to communicate material requirements through the proper channels
4.
Position must review product design for economical produce ability practices; and, compliance with engineering principles, organization standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
5.
Position is responsible for tracking project changes, updating, and producing construction schedules as agreed with the project or engineering manager.

Position will be required to assist fabrication, vendor/supplier coordination, and build equipment as needed.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
This position will periodically work with ICG operations to visit customer job sites and review tooling and equipment needs.
This position will also work with the Corporate training department to train and educate employees on operational features of new tooling and equipment.
Position will also require periodic work with marketing and sales regarding introduction and marketing of new service capabilities created through new tooling and cleaning systems developed by ICG Engineering.
Due to the nature of the business as 24/7 service company, non-traditional hours maybe required as a regular part of the job; and, travel to geographically dispersed job site locations.
2.
Travel to Customer plants for field surveys and outage support will be required periodically support corporate operations groups.

Required Skills
N/A
Required Experience
1.
8-10 years of machining and mechanical assembly experience in dealing with manufacturing of mechanical systems and integrated electronic controls.
2.
Strong technical/mechanical skills that manifest themselves in constructive ideas on Tooling and equipment development in support of productivity and safety improvements related to the ICG Operations.
3.
Must be able to prepare sketches and written descriptions of mechanical devices and systems concepts that can be converted to design details for manufacturing purposes
4.
Candidates should have or develop proficiency with all MS Office applications.
5.
Experience with water blast cleaning services preferred
6.
Familiarity with mechanical codes and compliance.
7.
Professional oral and written interpersonal communication.
