To strengthen our motivated Board and Paper Supply Chain & Sales Operations team in the United States, we are looking for an Associate Import Customer Service Specialist.
Your Role
You handle order entry, invoicing, and manage order processing for the US and Canada
You act as the key link between mills, Sales, and clients, ensuring efficient sales processes and clear communication
You collaborate with European Customer Service teams for order confirmations, shipping, and documentation
You resolve client issues, manage credit limits, follow up on overdue invoices, and handle sample requests
You organize inventory, storage, transportation, and manage damaged or rejected stock
You monitor US and Canada shipments for on-time delivery and address any delays proactively
You enhance communication, reduce language barriers, and identify process improvement opportunities
Your Profile
You have 2+ years of experience in customer service/logistics
Forest product industry and import experience is a plus
You possess strong communication abilities
You have exceptional problem-solving capabilities
You are proficient in MS Office suite, including advanced skills in MS Excel for formula creation and pivot tables, as well as MS PowerPoint
Proficiency in ERP (eg SAP) is a valuable asset
