Associate Laboratory Technician

WuXi AppTec is a leading global pharmaceutical, medical device open-access capability and technology platform company with global operations. We have an opening in our Sterility Department for an Associate Lab Technician.     Position Details: Schedule: Monday - Friday 5AM to 2:00 PM Hours: Full-Time, 40 per week Pay: $18/hr to start with opportunity for growth Perform Sterility Testing in compliance with applicable Regulations, International Standards following SOPs in cleanroom type environment, perform QA/QC tasks, prep carts. Experience / Education    Associates or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 1 year of relevant industry experience without a degree Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Ability to work in a team environment and independently as required Thorough understanding of Good Laboratory Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices Proficient in Oral & Written communication. Need to be able to read, write and understand English Physical Requirements: Clarity of Vision – ability to distinguish color Must be able to work in lab setting with exposure to biohazards / chemicals Must be able to wear appropriate PPE Must be able to work in environment with variable noise levels Ability to stand / sit / walk for long periods of time Ability to lift / push / pull / move 40 lbs. routinely Ability to crouch, bend, twist, and reach Must be able to work in small, confined spaces Must be able to perform activities with repetitive motions Must be able to work overtime as needed.
