Responsibilities
• Serve in a leadership role to the entire church family• Primary focus on youth ministry• Build trusting relationships with congregation and youth• Prepare youth for forms of worship, prayer, and mission work• Seek partnership opportunities with local ministries and churches• Serve as leader for the Youth Ministry• Prepare and lead weekly confirmation class• Plan and execute Youth Mission Trips, Bible camps, and retreats• Gather, equip, and support ministry teams for programs• Mentor and train Team Leaders and Teachers• Lead weekly youth groups to produce disciples of Jesus Christ• Serve on the Christian Education Board• Build relationships with students, parents, and church leaders• Give oversight and help execute the jobs of the board• Assist the Minister(s) in weekly activities• Develop philosophy of ministry that will be implemented by all pastoral staff• Preach and teach regularly• Lead worship service at least monthly• Assist with home and hospital visitation, weddings, and funerals• Attend church leadership and administrative meetings• Connect with community partners for evangelism and outreach• Assist with correspondence and communications through printed and digital media
Requirements
• Fully committed to Christ as Savior and Lord• Sense a calling to congregational ministry with a proven track record• Embrace a team-based approach to ministry• Commitment to Reformed doctrine and gospel-driven ministry philosophy• Assume responsibility for personal growth and development• Openness to pursuing ordination
