Associate Payroll

Our Saint Paul, MN location currently has an opportunity for an Assoicate Payroll. The Associate Payroll conducts high- volume payroll processing for the Abbott team. The Associate Payroll ensures the accuracy and timeliness of payroll activities.

Title:Associate Payroll
Location: St. Paul, MN
Duration:6+ Month (Possible contract to hire)

Responsibilities:
Prepares the monthly payroll, conducting the necessary processes for payment of the various components of salary, such as vacation pay, overtime, etc.
Responsible for payment of legal charges and statutory withholdings, such as employee guarantee fund, social security, income tax, labor dues, etc.
Makes the calculations of payments related to dismissals.
Key Success Factors:
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of payroll taxes- federal, state and FICA taxes
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years of payroll processing experience
