Position Summary: The Associate Process Engineer role will require engineering design knowledge and operation of laboratory and pilot scale process equipment for Claros' UV photochemical PFAS destruction system. This position will report to senior-level engineering staff.
Essential Job Functions: Design, operation, and troubleshooting of chemical processing unit operations Feasibility studies and optimization of chemical reactor systems Data compilation, evaluation, and QA/QC Report writing and other supporting documentation Process Simulation Engineering deliverables such as process data sheets Competencies & Skills: Knowledge of Design of Experiment Methodology Process equipment design skills Familiarity with relevant chemical engineering software Comfortable with mechanical tasks and troubleshooting as needed Experience with fabrication, electrical and plumbing, a plus Education – Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering/science discipline
Experience – 1-5 years of experience in professional or lab settings
