Overview of Job Duties: Individuals in Product Management positions are responsible for driving brand preference and delivering market and revenue growth.
Product Management defines and delivers an integrated brand and marketing plan in collaboration with other marketing team members and cross-functional partners.
The Associate Product Manager supports the product life cycle of innovative products in the Spineology portfolio with a focus on innovation, business stewardship, and sales support.
Responsibilities include:
Assist in the identification of user needs and collaborate with the project team members on product development initiatives.
Support verification, validation, risk analysis, and simulated use testing for managed products.
Support the creation of and delivery of marketing and education programs to support the growth and expansion of managed products and services.
Promote Spineology products at industry conferences ands educational events.
Forecast future demand and inventory needs.
Assess competitive landscape of managed products to support sales positioning and future product development initiatives.
Provide product information and procedural support to OR staff, physicians, and sales representatives
Collaborate with and provide support to marketing team on products/projects managed by peers.
Collaborate across organization with cross functional partners in product development and commercialization efforts
Support sales team with product requests
Assist with product training and education
Education Requirements: Four year college degree, nursing degree, or PA degree.
Experience: The person filling this position should be familiar with product management concepts, practices, and procedures or have experience training, teaching or instructing others.
The candidate should also have one of the following:
1-2 years in any technical product support capacity (engineering, sales, product marketing, training)
1-2 years in a training/teaching/instructional role
1-2 years in clinical practice as OR nurse on ortho or neuro service
1-2 years in clinical practice as physician assistant or nurse practitioner (any specialty)
2 years in medical industry in event planning capacity with project management responsibilities
Skills & Abilities: Demonstrated technical aptitude
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to effectively teach/instruct
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Experience with Microsoft Suite products (Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
