Job Description: Perform as a key member of the accounting function under the guidance of the Manager of the company to perform various finance and accounting functions such as effective bookkeeping, cost control, analysis of open balances in AR/AP, daily payments, tax compliance, and implementation of agreed policies & procedures for accurate and timely reporting, along with team handling experience.
Proper checking and posting of accounting vouchers (like Employee claims, Maintenance Expenses, Capex, GNA, etc.)Timely GL reconciliations.Ensure that all transactions are recorded on a real-time basis in AX (Accounting System).Ensure timely booking and reconciliation of inter-company transactions.Ensure that all transactions (Expenses, Sales, Purchases, and Payments) are booked in the proper GL, CC, and type of Expense.Settlement of open transactions in Ledger accounts.Ensure that all payments are made within due dates.Ensure proper and effective responses to all counterparts regarding their issues/queries.Check and ensure that all agreements comply with the company's internal policies and legal requirements.Provide data/information for annual budgeting/reforecasting.Provide timely data for the completion of internal, external, and statutory audits conducted.Preparation of data for audit schedules duly tied up with the trial balance.Check and maintain records of all statutory compliance (like data submission, payments within due dates) on time and reconcile with the book of accounts.Timely booking of monthly expenses and comparisons with past periods (like GNA, fixed production overhead, variable costs, etc.).Proper monthly provisioning of expenses.Preparation of financial statements as per IFRS and audit coordination.Timely preparation and submission of various reports to the Manager.Having sound knowledge of IGAAP/IFRS is an advantage.Build effective relationships within the team and with external counterparts.Team handling, mentoring, and training of team members.Timely meetings with cross-functional teams to update about changes in policies and procedures and understand their issues/support required.Experience: Education: CA
Experience: 1-4 years
Skills & Competencies / Specific Knowledge / Abilities: Computer skills (e.g., Excel), good communication skills, knowledge of Ax/Atlas software is an advantage.
