Our offering includes brokerage and investment advisory services, financial and wealth planning, access to credit and lending, cash management, annuities and insurance, and retirement services.The Associate position is with US Banks Regulatory Risk and Vendor Management Team.  The team has responsibility for the implementation of the Bank's Regulatory Risk and Compliance programs in the Business Unit as the First Line of Defense.  The Associate will sit full-time in New York, NY, and be responsible for assisting various Regulatory Risk and Compliance programs for US Banks products and services. Working in the team gives a great opportunity to gain understanding of US Banks regulatory environment. The individual will be exposed to different business groups, initiatives and work closely with Legal and Compliance personnel and other relevant stakeholdersResponsibilities:Assist in the daily monitoring of exceptions identified in the Reg W, Reg O processes, analyze issues and ensure timely resolutionRetain documentation of the discussions/investigationsAssisting in the periodic Internal Audit and Compliance testsMonitoring Reg W limits dailyWorking on new business initiatives and responding to the information requests from Business Units, Financial Advisors and Private BankersReview the current processes, identify areas of improvement, assist in designing and implementing new processesCompile data and prepare presentations for senior management reviewDrafting, updating, and maintaining Reg W business/support area proceduresQualifications:3+ years of experience in the financial services industry.Experience in compliance activities is a plusExcellent Oral and Written communication skillsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast paced, ever-changing environmentConfident and concise presentation skillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing across a matrixed organizationExpected base pay rates for the role will be between 70,000 USDand 100,000 USD per year at the commencement of employment.  However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programsMorgan Stanley's goal is to build and maintain a workforce that is diverse in experience and background but uniform in reflecting our standards of integrity and excellence.
