Pet Doctor is a busy 2 doctor, small animal hospital in the heart of a thriving community.
We practice high quality medicine and aim to over-deliver the highest level of care, competence, warmth and professionalism.
Rockwall and the surrounding community are great places to live and work.

Salary and benefits are commensurate with skills, ability and education.

We are needing someone who is a people person and has a knack for being confident, and easily approachable as a team player.
Pet Doctor is independently owned, so you make the decisions about medicine and treatment choices.
Surgical experience is necessary and there are no after hour emergency duties - talk about perks!

Schedule: 40 hours per Every other Saturday No after hour emergencies Responsibilities: Devote experience, knowledge, skills, and energy to the treatment of sick and injured animals Serve as a primary source of information on animal care for owners and care providers in our community Coordinate and implement treatment plans and provide detailed explanations for the client education and medical records Deliver medical and surgical treatments with formulary approved pharmaceuticals, supplies, and equipment Manage emergency medical situations that could arise in a general practice: assess, stabilize, and determine if a referral is appropriate or patient can be managed in-house Support your clinic's other doctors in their diagnoses and surgical procedures Perform regular and preventive health examinations Assess animals to determine the nature of disease or injury Train interns and new employees to operate effectively in the clinical environment Continue to learn and understand the latest veterinary practices Benefits include but not limited to: Work-Life-Family balanced scheduling Competitive Compensation Plans Bonus program Mentorship / Training Licensing fees, CE's and professional dues Medical insurance Paid-time off (full-time employees) Employee discount Tuition reimbursement Relocation assistance (New Hires) Don't Wait!
