VCA Elk Grove Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to complement our talented team in Elk Grove, California. Now Offering VCA Scribe! We welcome newly graduated veterinarians (and current veterinary students) to apply to this position where they will receive individualized support with our 6-month mentorship program and a collaborative hospital team environment. Our hospital is open 6 days (closed Sundays) a week, and doctors typically work 4 days each week on a rotating schedule that will include some Saturdays. The hospital is open 7:30- 6 pm M-F and 9 -5 on Saturdays. VCA EGAH is a full-service veterinary hospital that includes surgery, digital radiology (including dental), ultrasound, dentistry, in-house labs, boarding and basic grooming. Tools available assist you to perform your best: Rigid endoscope, 2 ultrasound machines, Spectrum Laser, sevoflurane exclusive anesthesia and a full-time pharmacy RVT. We pride ourselves on providing hometown support for our clients while backing it up with top notch medicine and equipment, as befits being a part of the VCA family of hospitals. Some of the doctors and support staff have been here for 10 - 30 years. The annual salary range for this position is $66,560 - $180K. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
