Responsibilities
• Management of referral cases• Supervision and clinical instruction of house officers and students• Scholarly contributions in the candidate's area of expertise• Participation in pre-clinical teaching curriculum• Contributing to specialty service leadership• Clinical service, education, and research/scholarly activity• Assisting in the education of veterinary students and house officers
Requirements
• DVM/VMD or equivalent degree• Eligible for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Michigan• Excellent communication skills• Ability to work cooperatively within a team• Board certification in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine or European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine preferred• Advanced research degree or focused research experience
