The Athletics Associate is a part-time role (25-30 hours/week) reporting to the Director of Athletics. Responsibilities include managing and organizing team uniforms and equipment, assisting with day-to-day contest management, coordinating social media posts, and serving as a liaison with the school photographer and yearbook staff. The Director of Athletics assigns additional duties as needed.
\n Uniform and Equipment Management Collaborate with Senior Athletic Associate to: Organize, inventory, issue, and collect all team uniforms.Create a priority rotation for ordering new team uniformsOrganize, inventory, issue, and collect all team equipmentCoordinate the collection and reconditioning of all safety equipment. Inclusive of football helmets/shoulder pads, boys and girls lacrosse helmets, etc.Order and issue all Riverdale coaching attire Contest Management: Collaborate with Senior Athletic Associate to: Coordinate day-to-day contest management Organize student managers into teams based on the priority of essential game management. Communications:Assistant in coordination of social media postsInclusive of Athlete of the Week, highlight team performances, highlight Individual performances.Collect all Game scores across all levels to post to website.Liaison with School Photographer and Year Book Staff for yearbook team photos and Communications Department, as well as individual game photos Other Duties:Perform additional departmental tasks as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

\nSkills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. Our ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment where they manage multiple priorities. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Sabbatical:  Full time teaching faculty are eligible for a sabbatical after 10 years of employment.
