Athletic Operations Assistant I

The purpose of this class is to provide assistance in the operation and maintenance of assigned athletic facility or facilities.
Associates degree and two years full time experience working in the sports recreation field, in a multi-purpose facility.
Must have a valid driver's license in good standing with violation points less than five (5).
* Remain Knowledgeable about the College, its structure, culture, policies, and practices.
* Order and take regular inventory of equipment and supplies.
* Assist faculty with class equipment procurement.

* Serve as a point of contact for vendors, faculty, staff, and external organizations.
* Serve as a liaison between College departments, faculty and/or staff, as required.

* Maintain records pertinent to daily operations.

* Perform sports information functions and assist with scheduling.

* Process athletic procurement and maintain athletic inventories.
* Maintain records and assist with NJCAA athletic eligibility compliance information.

* Serve as coordinator and assist with the technical and administrative support of the campus' intercollegiate athletic teams.
* Provide coverage for athletic games and events, which can include nights and weekends.

* Assist the athletic department with tasks relating to the function of the department.

* Assist in the supervision of student aides, interns and part-time staff.
