Job Summary

Individual will be responsible to perform as a liaison between patients, hospitals, physicians, and staff.
Responsibilities include managing day to day interactions with athlete patients referred by partnering educational institutions, established school service agreements, and hospital based event/marketing agreements.
Assist in creating and executing strategies to enhance the outreach efforts to the community on for MH System entities and specific athletic training programs.
Other duties include ordering and placement of signage, increase awareness of programs, organize events, and optimize attendance.
This individual needs to be able to communicate effectively and comfortably with parents, students, athletes, administrators, and coaches.
This person typically reports to the Director of Athletic Outreach.


Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient served.
Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development as it relates to the different life cycles.
Specific age groups that are served by this position are circledJob Description Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree, Masters preferred

Licenses/Certifications: (None)

Experience/Knowledge/Skills: Five (5) years of professional experience in patient satisfaction or marketing.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Strong communication, prioritization, organizational and presentation skills with the ability to facilitate effective meetings.
Ability to work in a team environment; flexibility, adaptability, integrity, and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work independently, in a high stress environment and on multiple tasks simultaneously Must be willing to travel in assigned geographic territory Effective oral and written communication skills Principal Accountabilities Manage contracts, sponsorships, and strategies with educational institutions or athletic organizations as directed by leadership.
Develop strategies that lead to new agreements and retain existing.
Collaborates with various System departments and hospitals to attract and retain customers and accomplish strategic goals.
Evaluates the effectiveness of contracts, sponsorships, and activities in place by documenting results and recommending changes for improvement when appropriate.
Track referrals resulting from sponsorships and agreements to validate return on investment Responds promptly and professionally to internal requests and external requests/solicitations.
Assists in the planning of comprehensive strategies for assigned system services, facilities or programs.
Manages multiple internal services, facilities or programs with limited supervision.
Train and develops less experienced staff.
Serves as designated liaison between patients, their families, the hospital staff, and physicians in the resolution of patient concerns.
Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
