Premier Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is looking for a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to join our team!
Location: Pottstown, PA, Lionville, PA
Schedule: Weekdays, 7:15am-4:30pm. Pottstown office Monday-Friday. Lionville office Friday afternoon.

Our Robust Benefits Package Include the Following: Competitive Health, Pharmacy, Vision, and Dental Plan BenefitsDisability and Protective BenefitsHSA with qualifying HDHP plans with company match401k plan with company matchEmployee Assistance Program that is available 24/7 to provide supportEmployee Appreciation DaysEmployee Wellness EventsBenefits eligibility within 30 days of employment!ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Acts as a liaison between patients, physicians, physician assistants, RNs, MAs, and employeesResponsible for maintaining clinic flow in all areas of the clinic to include the directing of physicians to their next patient, having pertinent data available and ready for reviewAble to provide competent patient assessment through history, physical and examination on all new and established patientsAble to review patient records and database to determine health status and is able to identify normal and abnormal findings on history, physical and examAfter evaluation of the patient is able to provide a thorough presentation of pertinent data both subjective and objective to the attending physicianRecords patient data gathered during the interview or examination and maintains in patient file and EMRAble to communicate effectively the intended treatment plan with written and verbal instruction to ensure patient comprehension and compliancePerforms duties of casting, splinting, suture and staple removal, wound care, brace fitting and crutch trainingQUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in athletic training as well as a valid state license or certification.Proven education or experience will be requested.2 years of Athletic Trainer experience in a clinic setting preferredMust hold a valid Athletic Trainer certification.Strong understanding of the challenges athletes face, proper nutrition, sports injuries, and treatment options.Understanding of first-aid treatments, massage, and physical therapy techniques and equipment.
