Siemens EDA is the longest standing Electronic Design Automation company in the world and over the last 30 years has amassed the finest technology portfolio in the business. Our software tools span the full breadth of semiconductor and electrical systems solutions including integrated circuit design and verification, PCB design & manufacturing solutions, cable harness design tools, and embedded software.
This position is a part of the Atlas Graduate Program. Through this program, you will receive 12 months of technical and non-technical training, mentorship from Siemens EDA executives and world-class engineers, and learn what it is like to work as part of a company that is solving electronic design automation software challenges in the physical verification space.
You will participate in the definition, specification, experimentation, prototyping, and deployment of AI enhancements in IC design physical verification products. You will work with other Product Engineers, R&D Engineers, Product Management, Application Engineers and even directly with Customers to accomplish these tasks. You will participate in defining, training and testing ML models and other algorithms to enhance the intelligence, performance and usability of the product line. You will participate in writing articles, presentations and other technical and marketing content.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• A basic understanding of semiconductor logic design and verification
• Basic knowledge or skills in machine learning
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (PERL, Python, TCL, etc.)
• Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good oral and written communication skills in English
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
• Actual experience in ML feature engineering, model training, model testing and optimization
• Experience defining and implementing complex algorithms in software
• Circuit design and/or verification experience
• IC Design CAD tools (Preferably Calibre)

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday
The salary range for this position is $32.69/hr to $58.84/hr and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
