Attending Veterinarian -In Vivo Services
Location: Hercules, CA
This position will be required to be on site for at least 3 days full time, or part time daily for 5 days.

My client is seeking a part-time, on-site Attending Veterinarian to join their In Vivo Services team.

What You'll Be Doing:
Provide expertise on animal health and welfare.Oversee the animal care and use program.Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and health programs.Manage the veterinary service team.Provide training on animal care and use.Participate in IACUC processes and oversight functions.Institute methods to prevent, diagnose, and treat diseases in laboratory animals.Perform surgeries and provide surgical support as needed.Be available after hours for emergencies.
About You:
Hold a DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.Possess a current California Veterinarian License.Have basic surgical skills and abilities.Experience with various lab animals is a plus, but not required.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Thrive in both team-oriented and independent work environments.
