Job Description : The Jr. Audio Visual (AV) Technician will perform audio visual support for the property related to AV-based systems, as well as installation, deployment, and maintenance. This includes but is not limited to, Audio, Video, Lighting, control systems, and event-related support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following is a list of the main duties and responsibilities. However, other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management. All duties must be performed in accordance with Tribal, Federal, and other applicable requirements, organizational specific policies, procedures and practices. Responsible for providing technical assistance by receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolve requests and escalates incidents when considered appropriate and necessary to maintain service level expectations. Maintains communication within IT ticketing system. Provides support in a timely, effective, and courteous manner and escalates issues as required. Maintains, troubleshoots, and supports all AV related systems. Works with appropriate vendors for hardware and software application issues. Assists with the creation and maintaining of SOP's, knowledgebase contributions, and reference guides to support our user-base and internal Service Management tools. Informs management of problem trends and provides detailed status reports. Understands the goals and vision of the organization and demonstrates commitment to those goals in terms of individual and team performance. Maintains the highest level of confidentiality. Other duties as needed or assigned, occasional after-hours maintenance and support required. Must possess effective communication skills, intermediate experience supporting PC's, peripherals, software, and hardware with superior troubleshooting and analytical skills. Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Must be at least 18 years of age. General Or Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to customer service. Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization as well as external contacts, both verbally and in writing. Demonstrated success working in a team-based environment. Strong detail orientation and analytical abilities. Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations. Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills. Background in Audio Visual, Stage production technology, Information Technology, or other technical discipline preferred. Experience in office infrastructure and office technologies preferred. Knowledge of Windows environments, with basic troubleshooting skills. Ability to troubleshoot common signal flow issues. AV related system certification a plus. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to research and collect resources for knowledgebase, SOP's, and projects. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication is required. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal, and work with mathematical such as probability and statistical inference. Reasoning Ability: Must demonstrate ability to identify and define issues, collect and document appropriate logs/ data for analyzation, and demonstrates effective analytical and systematic troubleshooting skills. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical documentation. Education: Ideal: Bachelors in Multimedia Arts, Digital Media Production, or Sound Design Associates in Multimedia Arts or Digital Media Production, or Sound Design CTS Certification Also Accepted: High School Diploma with Experience GED with Experience
