As we continue our aggressive growth, we're actively seeking a variety of healthcare positions to serve Veterans in select states, with anticipated expansion nationwide.Pay rate: $43.10/hrResponsibilitiesConduct one-time, non-treatment hearing examinationsPerform comprehensive hearing examinations including air and bone conduction, Stenger testing, speech reception threshold, and word recognition testingPerform and interpret middle ear analysis using tympanometry and acoustic reflex testingPerform otoscopy and cerumen removal management if necessaryConduct electronic medical record review including audiogram history and military noise historyPerform medical opinion writing as the subject matter expert for hearing loss and tinnitus claimsAll equipment necessary to perform duties will be available on-site using state of the art audiology equipment and sound boothsMaintain patient confidentiality complying with HIPAA and VA rules and proceduresQualificationsEducation – Doctoral Degree in Audiology (AuD) or Master's degree in Audiology from a University accredited by ACAE or CAALicensure – Current registration and licensure in Audiology by the State of CaliforniaExperience – None required. Experience performing C&P exams is preferred but not necessary Training and ongoing support will be providedCertifications – Preferred: The Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and/or board certification in audiology from the American Board of Audiology (ABA).
