Job Summary
The Audit Intern will provide direct support to team members in their performance of Franchise Audits. In addition to support, this position will conduct audit research and assist with special projects. The Audit Intern will gain valuable insights into the performance of Franchise Audits, as well as the financial system and process of Servpro Franchises.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Drafting Audit correspondence on behalf of the audit staff
Performing preliminary review of audit materials submitted by Franchise owners
Requesting additional materials as needed
Preparing preliminary summary of audit findings for audit staff
Maintaining internal status tracking for audit process
Reviewing Royalty Revisions submitted by Franchise owners
Supporting audit manager with special projects for audit department.

Required Qualification (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
Keen attention to detail and dependable
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to understand and interpret legal documents such as franchise license agreements.
Strong project management and time management skills
QuickBooks or other equivalent accounting software knowledge, considered a plus

Related Work Experience

Experience in a role that requires time and project management
Experience in a role that requires attention to detail and strong communication skills

Education

Actively pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or business related area.
At least a 3.0 GPA
