Audit Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Audit Manager to lead our audit practice.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing various audit engagements in different industries including manufacturing, telecommunication, construction, employee benefit plans, non-profit, government audit, and healthcare audit.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and lead a team of audit professionals in conducting external audit engagementsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure excellent client servicePlan and execute audit engagements in accordance with auditing standards and company policiesPerform risk assessments and identify areas of potential audit riskProvide timely and effective feedback to audit staff, review workpapers, and ensure quality controlAssist in the development of audit methodologies, tools, and templatesStay up-to-date with changes in auditing standards, regulations, and industry trends
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in auditing, with at least 3 years in a management/supervisory roleCPA certification is requiredExperience in manufacturing, telecommunication, construction, employee benefit plans, non-profit, government audit, and healthcare auditStrong knowledge of auditing standards, principles, and practicesExcellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple engagements and prioritize tasks effectivelyExperience with audit software such as Caseware and IDEA is preferred
