About this opportunity:
In this exciting Automation Engineer role at Ericsson, you will get to automate activities as defined in Support and Repair Software Delivery scope for our clients, according to pre-approved requirements and high-level design documents. This pivotal role ensures that all delivered automations are efficient, functional, and match our client's expectations. In addition, this pivotal role will allow the Engineer to provide solutions to software upgrade issues according to established processes and aligned with Service Level Agreements. Fault prevention, finding and isolation, resolution and stabilization work is supported with data-driven means, and through knowledge on products, solutions, customer network and technology evolution. With experience more operational and technical issue handling for dedicated customers, solutions or domains becomes part of the work.
What you will do:
Develop, program, and test automation systems.
Diagnose and rectify bugs within production code.
Contribute in creating high level and low level design specifications along with other documents.
Coordinate requirements gathering and gain sign-offs, verifying that use cases accurately reflect business needs.
Contribute in automating existing and future developments and explore new possibilities in automation and tools.
Understand and implement 'automation delivery' processes while ensuring end-to-end user accepted solutions.
Provide real-time support resolution to internal software delivery engineers in effort to resolve issues prior to end of maintenance windows.
Have ownership of Upgrade Support tickets in accordance with deliverable agreements, through issue handling, until solved.
Follow SW delivery processes, delivery models and strategy, staying compliant with the latest agreed ways of working.
The skills you bring:
Recent graduate of a bachelor's degree in engineering with 0-2 years of experience.
Programming knowledge, Python /Java.Automation using Python.
Automation using Ansible
Automation via Orchestration.
Software Project Management.
Computer skills - Algorithm and Scripting.
Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
Scripting/Automation.
Application Lifecycle Management.
Linux.
Automation.
Lean and Agile.
Knowledge of databases.
CLI, GUI, O and M, Configuration and Troubleshooting.
Annual Salary: $92,340.00 USD
Hiring Bonus: $8,500 USD
