Responsibilities
• Provide conceptual design and product specification based on client requirements• Program and test PLC/OIT/HMI systems• Assist with installation, start-up, and testing of control systems• Provide direction to junior staff as needed• Troubleshoot instrumentation and control system issues on-call• Occasionally lift items up to 50 pounds without assistance
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology• 3+ years of experience in design, programming, installation, and startup tasks• Programming experience with PLCs, OITs, and SCADA software• Advanced computer skills and proficiency• Effective communication and organizational skills• Problem-solving abilities• Own transportation for driving to offices and client locations
Key Skills Needed
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology• 3+ years experience as an Electrical/Controls Engineer• Programming experience using PLCs, OITs, and SCADA software• Advanced Computer Skills, Literacy, & Proficiency• Microsoft Visio experience a plus• Effective oral, written, & digital communication skills• Effective organizational skills• Problem-solving skills
