About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to assist with project documentation, testing, and troubleshooting for automation systems.
The ideal candidate will have proficiency in engineering tests, test protocols, and data manipulation using Excel, along with the ability to work independently.
This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and requires familiarity with Rockwell PLC/DCS systems, GAMP 5 documentation, and remote connectivity.
Your Mission: Project Documentation: Generate documentation for project requirements and testing protocols, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Engineering Testing: Conduct engineering tests, shakedown testing, and formal verification tests with adherence to GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and address issues related to test failures, generating and evaluating potential solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other teams to ensure seamless execution of testing and troubleshooting.
Core Competencies: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and documentation.
Basic knowledge of network connectivity and remote systems.
Strong understanding of testing protocols and engineering documentation.
What You Bring: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related STEM field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in automation engineering with expertise in Rockwell PLC/DCS systems (Logix 5000, FT View, PlantPAx preferred).
Preferred Skills: Knowledge of GAMP 5 (V-Model) documentation, verification test planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
Schedule & Shift Details: Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
